The Bridge

The Bridge They ain't Boland, Ragweed, or Morrow. Nope. These guys are a different breed entirely. Meet "The Bridge." They're a young band out of Baltimore (trust us, they're good folks) who are in the process of finding themselves fans. Their most recent album called "Blind Man's Hill" is pretty bad-ass. In fact, it spent over three months in the top 40 of the Americana Music Chart.

We caught up with these guys in Ballmer last week and caught the following song called "Poison Wine" (we have a few more and will get them up in the days ahead). Jessie Scott also did an interview with Cris and Kenny and it can be found here. So, get ready for some music that's kind of funky, has lots of soul, and is gritty as hell...

[Update: I am an idiot, as Jessie Scott has pointed out that Baltimore, is in fact, not College Park. Geography FAIL.]

Jesse Winchester at "The Mansion on O"

Jesse Winchester An elegant and eclectic place…and performer! Jesse Winchester comes to DC this Sunday evening for an intimate show at the spectacularly magical "Mansion on O Street." Now here's the deal, tickets are only available online and in advance; they will not be sold at the door. If you're in the Washington area this weekend, this might just be the place to be. And of course upcoming, watch the Music Fog spaces for video from Jesse's set. Oh yeah, he'll be doing songs from his new album "Love Filling Station." It's been ten years since his last studio album! Me? I can't wait to bring this to you...
