Bonnie Bishop "Everytime You Come Around"

The last time we recorded with Bonnie it was at one of her concerts. This time around we wrangled the uniqueness of a private Music Fog session, which we find becomes a very intimate experience for you, the viewer, since the artist is just living in the moment of the song---no other worries. Bonnie Bishop is savoring every moment in this recording, and adds a wonderful dynamic by having Michael Webb play accordion for this tune. If you enjoy this cut, pick up the original...it's an incredible album closer to Things I Know.

Today is Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow; six more weeks of winter. So, enjoy this tune of summer memories, past and future, until it's time to come back around. "We'll meet you at the gates of town..."

Ray Wylie Hubbard "Loose"

If ever there was an Embassador of Americana, Ray Wylie's the man. His stories and music take you on a ride through the eras, and the space between your ears. A: Enlightenment B: Endarkenment (Hint: There Is No C) is the title of his new record, which he named because, "you get more attention burning down the barn than you do carrying out the trash." Sure, he may grab your attention with a quirky line or an off hand comment, but he'll hold you in your spot with a tune like "Loose." Check out this vivid version and see what memories pop into your head as you think about "cuttin' loose on payday," then grab the album for the rest of the trip.

Update: And congrats to RWH for hitting #1 on the Americana Radio Airplay Chart TODAY! Kisses from the Fog Crew - Jessie

Jason Eady "Wishful Drinking"

I love some blues with my twang, and if you throw in a drink or two you've got a real tune to savor! Jason Eady & the Wayward Apostles deliver just that with this laid back groove about thoughts that spin in your head during those introspective times that often follow a few pulls. Jason will be visiting some more cities he "doesn't know," and some he does, as he's getting back out on the road for the new year. Check tour dates at his website then hit a show! Meanwhile, here's to "Wishful Drinking."
